Spanish Open Positions

PART-TIME Instructors of Spanish (Adjunct):

The Spanish Language Program invites applications for one part-time position as Adjunct Instructor of Spanish to begin as early as August 21, 2018 with an initial appointment for one semester. Appointment renewal is contingent on successful performance.
 
Duties and responsibilities include teaching two Spanish language courses and participating in cultural and academic activities. Minimum Qualifications: Degree (M.A.) in Spanish Language Pedagogy, Second Language Acquisition, 
 
Minimum Qualifications:
  • degree (M.A.) in Spanish Language Pedagogy, Second Language Acquisition, or similar field
  • demonstrated teaching excellence (student evaluations, classroom observations, other)
  • excellent working (professional) command of English and Spanish (oral and written)
  • experience teaching at the U.S. university level
  • demonstrated ability to work with task-based and content-based pedagogy
  • extensive knowledge of instructional technology applied to classroom language pedagogy.
