Minor in Spanish & Latin American Languages, Literatures & Cultures
The requirements for the minor in Spanish and Latin American Language and Literature are as follows:
For students who declared before Fall 2014:
21 credit hours, consisting of three courses chosen from Span 2005-3040; and two courses chosen from Span 3100, 3210, 3220, and another two courses at the 3000-4000 level. No more than four courses taken abroad may count toward the minor (excluding GW Study Centers in Argentina, Chile, and Spain).
For students who declared on or after Fall 2014:
18 credit hours, consisting of three courses chosen from Span 2005-3040; Span 3100, and two courses in literature at the 3000-4000 level (from Span 3300 to Span 4700). No more than three courses taken abroad may count toward the minor (excluding GW Study Centers in Chile and Spain).
