PART-TIME Instructor of Spanish

The Spanish Language Program at The George Washington University invites applications for a part-time position as Instructor of Spanish for Fall 2020 with an initial appointment for one semester to teach language courses (pending sufficient enrollment). Appointment renewal is contingent on successful performance.
Duties and responsibilities:
Include teaching two Spanish language courses, holding office hours, and supporting the program in cultural and academic activities.
Minimum Qualifications:
M.A. Degree in Spanish Language Pedagogy, Second Language Acquisition, or similar field; experience teaching Spanish language at the college level, ability to work with task-based and content-based pedagogy; extensive knowledge of instructional technology applied to classroom language pedagogy, demonstrated teaching excellence (student evaluations, classroom observations, other) and excellent working (professional) command of English and Spanish (oral and written).
