Anne Jurado Kratz received her Masters 1 in Linguistics from Tulane University (New Orleans) and Université Lumière – Lyon 2 (France) and the Masters 2 in teaching French and techniques of expression from Université Lumière-Lyon 2.

Before joining The George Washington University she worked as a teacher of French as a second language in various institutions and universities in France, Germany and in the United States with the State Department. She taught courses on language, civilization, and French culture as well as courses for the elimination of illiteracy.

Her teaching interests focus on the French language and French culture, francophone countries, the French and francophone cinéma and new teaching technologies.
